About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 14-week assignment starting July 20, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Performing surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assisting with preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Maintaining sterile field and instrument sets
- Communicating effectively with surgical teams and patients
- Adhering to hospital policies and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maryland
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer systems and documentation

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation.
Schedule
Shifts are 8 hours long, evenings.
