Job Summary
The role involves providing patient care in the surgical environment under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse. The RN will perform duties consistent with the standards set by the State of Maine Board of Nursing and the facility's policies and procedures, ensuring high-quality care during surgical procedures.
Job Details
- Location: Bangor, ME
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Current Maine RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Fully vaccinated from COVID-19 (per State Mandate)
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant clinical settings, with telemetry experience preferred
Additional Information
- Must be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- Flexible hours required
- Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation provided
- If the traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, a $10/hour decrease will apply
- The position is considered of normal urgency
- The healthcare provider reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within the 13-week contract period

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
