About the role
The Operating Room (OR) nursing professional will provide inpatient surgical care in a hospital setting. This role involves supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with hospital protocols within the inpatient surgery department. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours, with flexibility required for weekends and on-call responsibilities.
Schedule
- Dayshift from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, totaling 10 hours per shift
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient surgical care in a hospital setting
- Support surgical procedures
- Ensure patient safety
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Relevant educational background
- One year of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in inpatient surgery or Operating Room nursing
Additional Information
Agency staff do not have guaranteed hours and may be down staffed if the operational need is not present. Alternatively, staff may be reassigned to an open shift later in the week or floated to another unit or care site within the healthcare provider's system to maintain the contracted hours.
