Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,135 per week

About the role

Hospital located at the geographic and economic hub for central and western Maine needs an OR RN for a 13 week travel contract. This is a general surgery unit the does see totals and plastics. No eyes, cardiac, thoracic or vascular or scrubbing.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs
• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries
• Manage post-operative care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an OR setting
• Experience with general surgery and plastics
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Skills

• Proficient in operating room equipment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
