Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,090 per week

Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Bullhead City, Arizona. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, supporting a variety of specialized surgical procedures including endoscopy, general surgery (open, laparoscopic, robotic), ENT, vascular, orthopedic (total joints, arthroscopy, trauma, no spine), pain management, gynecology (excluding obstetrics), urology, and podiatry. The role requires providing direct patient care during surgical procedures and assisting the surgical team in a dynamic setting.

Location

Bullhead City, Arizona

Schedule

8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 06:30 AM and end time of 03:00 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Able to function independently after initial orientation
• Candidates must be team players

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with endoscopy, urology, total joints, orthopedic trauma, general surgery including robotics with Davinci Xi, ENT, vascular, podiatry, and comprehensive surgical procedures are preferred

Additional Information

• Flexibility may be required to complete cases running over schedule
• The position involves working in a 6-bed OR suite plus 1 endoscopy suite
• Scrubs are light blue and supplied in-house
• There is a blackout date for RTO on the 4th of July
• The role may require being on call nights and weekends as needed, with no set minimum or maximum number of on-call shifts

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
