Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,035 per week

Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a busy healthcare facility in Englewood, Colorado. This assignment involves working in a surgical setting with a focus on patient care, surgical procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires adaptability and strong communication skills to ensure high-quality patient experiences during surgical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures
• On-call duties from 5 PM to 7 PM one day per week, with weekend on-call once every six weeks if a particular specialist is on-call

Requirements

• Certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Minimum of 1-year current hospital acute care experience
• Ability to circulate and scrub during surgical procedures

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience with Meditech electronic medical records
• Preferred: Familiarity with procedures such as angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine surgeries

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Hours per week: 36 hours

• End Date: 12/14/2026 (13 weeks)
• Unit: Main operating room with 14 ORs, including hybrid cardiovascular and cystoscopy suites
• Staffing: OR RNs, CSTs, and clinical charge RNs
• Equipment: Standard OR equipment, Stryker video systems

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
