Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $1,965 per week

Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in outpatient surgery services, providing specialized nursing care and supporting surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout pre-operative and post-operative stages.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support in the outpatient surgical services department
• Perform IV starts, patient assessments, surgical preparation, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with surgical teams and adhere to clinical protocols
• Deliver high-quality perioperative care
• Adhere to specific unit policies and dress code
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• At least 1 year of experience in surgical or perioperative care
• IV start skills and experience with surgical preparation and recovery processes
• Ability to start on or after October 5, 2026
• Familiarity with pre- and post-operative care procedures

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm
• 5 days per week, minimum of 36 hours weekly
• Weekend work required

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
