Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $1,946 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in the Main Operating Room. This position operates within a fast-paced environment, focusing on orthopedic, general, urology, and vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Absorb the operating room and ensure equipment is operational.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to provide safe and efficient care.
• Document patient information and care accurately in the Meditech system.
• Floater to other areas as required when operating rooms are shut down.

Requirements

• Must have experience in orthopedic major joint surgeries and general surgery.
• Experience in urology (open & cysto) and vascular surgery is preferred.
• Certification in BLS is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, dedication, and positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

Must have a current RN license in good standing.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Meditech documentation.

Pay & Schedule

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, including call shifts and weekend rotation.
