Travel Operating Room Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room (OR) Circulator/Scrub Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Key West, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multispecialty surgical procedures, with a particular focus on Orthopedics and C-Sections. This role requires the ability to function proficiently in both circulating and scrubbing capacities, ensuring optimal patient care throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities

• Perform both circulating and scrub nurse duties as needed in the operating room.
• Assist in preparing the operating room, ensuring sterile technique and proper equipment setup.
• Monitor and support patients throughout the surgical procedure.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of intraoperative care and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a multispecialty operating room or as a travel nurse.
• Strong expertise in Orthopedic and C-Section procedures.
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles.
