About the role
Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 13‑week assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. The position starts 10/19/2026, requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel employment type.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to a complex medical oncology population
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor side effects
- Manage respiratory care including trachs, chest tubes, AirVO, CPAP/BiPAP
- Interpret cardiac arrhythmias
- Identify rapidly changing patient conditions and multitask in critical situations
- Provide end‑of‑life/hospice care
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Step‑down experience highly preferred; ACLS preferred
- Expertise in chemotherapy administration and side‑effect monitoring
- Ability to manage high‑level respiratory care (trachs, chest tubes, AirVO, CPAP/BiPAP)
- Ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions and multitask critical situations
- Experience with end‑of‑life care/hospice
