About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide care in adult medical oncology, including GI, GU, breast, head and neck, neuro, thoracic, lymphoma, leukemia, GYN oncology, and classic hematology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bone marrow biopsies in clinic settings.
• Perform GYN oncology procedures, including paps, biopsies, colposcopies, and pelvic exams.
• Administer neupogen and manage colostomy care.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Chart patient information using the Epic system.
• Access and manage ports and central line blood draws.
• Administer hormonal therapy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult medical oncology.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with accessing/managing ports and central line blood draws.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is mandatory.
