ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Newark, New Jersey.

- Schedule: Day shift, 5×7.5-hour schedule (08:00 – 16:00)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care in adult medical oncology and classic hematology, including GI, GU, Breast, Head and Neck, Neuro, Thoracic, Lymphoma, Leukemia, and GYN oncology
- Perform bone marrow biopsies in clinic
- Conduct GYN oncological procedures such as paps, biopsies, colposcopy, and pelvic exams
- Administer therapies including neupogen and hormonal treatments
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications
- Manage central line blood draws and care for ports and PICC lines
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Conduct procedures in outpatient settings including injections and blood draws
- Utilize Epic for charting and documentation
- Follow oncology protocols and safety measures, including isolation precautions
Requirements
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in adult medical oncology or hematology
- Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory
- Skills in accessing/managing ports and performing various oncology-related procedures
