Schedule

• Shift: 12 hours, nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS or BCLS (required); ACLS (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience
• Float required to all inpatient units

Responsibilities

• Telemetry and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Medical management of diagnoses such as diabetes mellitus (DM), pneumonia (PNA), trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, and urology
• Care for patients on a 37-bed unit with high patient turnover

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 37
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Equipment: Specialty beds (bariatrics), wound vacs, Prevena vacs, Baxter IV pumps
• EHR: Omnicell, Epic
• Patient Population: Adult, geriatric
• Ultrasound IV Team available 7 AM – 10 PM

Skills

• Must Have: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias
• Preferred: Bariatric experience
