Travel Oncology RN - $2,421 per week

About the role

TotalMed is seeking an Oncology RN for an immediate travel nursing opening in Cleveland, Ohio. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. As an Oncology RN, you will provide top-level care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans
• Provide patient education and treatment tracking
• Be a reliable source of comfort and support for cancer patients and their families
• Attend to a great number of details while working under pressure
• Implement best practice treatment protocols in a variety of settings
• Administer chemotherapy under physician direction
• Implement new methods of symptom treatment and monitor patients' progress
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options and procedures

Requirements

• BLS certification
• CHEMO certification
• ACLS certification
• 2 years recent acute care experience
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times
• Ability to work with potential exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week duration
• Start date: October 19, 2026
