Responsibilities

• Provide oncology nursing care, including chemotherapy administration.
• Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for accurate patient documentation.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
• ACLS certification.
• ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card.
• At least one year of acute care or medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in oncology or chemotherapy.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a travel nursing role.
• Prior experience in high-acuity oncology settings.

This nonprofit, 25-bed hospital has proudly served the Greater Hermiston region since opening its doors in 1954. The medical center is the largest facility in the Good Shepherd Healthcare System, which provides care for patients throughout northeast Oregon.
