Travel nurse RN Hematology / Oncology for a 13-week contract position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses.
• Provide care for patients in a Bone Marrow Transplant unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and policy guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; ONS certification recommended.
• Experience in oncology, chemotherapy administration, and bone marrow transplant preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of oncology nursing practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This position requires 3 × 12-hour shifts, working from 07:00 AM to 19:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. Weekend work may be required, with expectations varying between every other weekend or once every six weeks based on departmental needs. Floating to other units is rare but may occur if there are no available hours in the BMT unit.
