Travel Oncology RN - $2,153 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 13‑week contract beginning 10/26/2026 in Batavia, NY (Rochester area). The position is full‑time, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, with a schedule of Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM, no weekends, holidays, or on‑call duties. The practice is a community‑based oncology clinic affiliated with an NCI‑designated cancer center, staffed by a MD, APP, LPN, Ambulatory Tech, and three RNs. Infusion duties include hematology/oncology/monoclonal and non‑oncology referral infusions, with bedside chemotherapy teaching and an average of 8 patients per day (max 24).

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and non‑oncology infusions.
• Provide chemotherapy teaching and education at the chairside.
• Work independently to manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the oncology care team.

Requirements

• 2‑3 years of recent infusion experience; outpatient clinic experience highly desired.
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps.
