Travel Oncology RN - $1,903 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13‑week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (19:00–07:00) with four weekend days (Saturday and Sunday nights) required. The RN will work on the Oncology unit, providing chemotherapy administration, patient monitoring, documentation in Meditech, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all nursing care and patient interactions in the Meditech system.
• Participate in bedside shift report and safety rounds.
• Engage with patients and families to support education and address concerns.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing; oncology experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with chemotherapy administration is preferred.
