About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers a compelling opportunity to provide specialized care to patients undergoing medical and surgical treatments, including chemotherapy. The ideal candidate will possess strong Oncology and Med-Surgical skills, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Oncology unit, managing medication administration and treatment plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, side effects, and overall care.
• Participate in unit activities and staff meetings to enhance overall patient care quality.

Schedule

This is a 36-hour per week position with a day shift from 07:00 to 19:00, 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Oncology and Med-Surgical experience is a must.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Additional certifications in oncology nursing preferred.
