About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13-week assignment starting on August 24, 2026, in Sitka, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients with cancer
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare providers
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assess patient needs and document progress in the medical record
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatment
- Collaborate with the oncology team to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Alaska
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in oncology nursing preferred
