About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a position in Maumee, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery.
- Document all patient treatments accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Ohio.
- Experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams.
Skills
- Proficiency in radiation therapy equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
