Travel Oncology Inpatient RN - $2,257 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week assignment in New Albany, Indiana. The position starts 10/19/2026, requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal in managing disease and treatment.
• Administer chemotherapy.
• Implement new methods of symptom treatment and monitor patient progress.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
• Create a supportive environment for patients.
• May opt to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care oncology setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
