Travel Oncology Clinic RN - $2,511 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in New Haven, Connecticut. This position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, starting on 09/11/2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal in managing their disease and treatment, including administering chemotherapy.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
• Create a supportive environment for patients and may specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.
• Monitor patients' progress and implement new methods of symptom treatment.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting.
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.
