Travel Oncology Chemo Certified RN - $2,322 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking an Oncology RN for a travel nursing assignment in Monroe, Michigan.

About the Role

This assignment lasts 13 weeks and is scheduled to start on September 14, 2026. The role involves 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administration of chemotherapy, including body fluid handling post-chemotherapy, continuous infusion, and IV push administration
• Accessing and managing ports
• Administration of blood & blood products and coagulation factors
• Care coordination, phlebotomy, telephone triage, and wound care
• Psychosocial care, including advanced directives, patient/family education, and support
• Symptom management for conditions such as alteration in skin and mucous membranes, altered mental status, constipation/diarrhea, dysphagia, edema, nausea/vomiting, and neuropathy
• Surgery-related post-surgical care
• Handling oncologic emergencies (e.g., Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome, anaphylaxis, extravasation injury, sepsis)
• Pain management, including IV push narcotic agents and transdermal patches
• Care for patients with diseases such as bladder/kidney cancer, brain cancer, breast cancer, leukemia/blood dyscrasias, and more
• IV therapy/infusions, including central line/implanted line care, infusion pump management, and PICC line care
• Medication administration, including antibiotics, antiemetics, antifungals, antivirals, corticosteroids, and neupogen
• Experience in infusion center, outpatient oncology, administration of bone marrow, CAR-T, graft-versus-host disease, and stem cell therapies

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing
• Epic charting experience (required)
• Community hospital experience (required)
• Travel experience (required)
• Current MI nursing license in hand; pending OH license is acceptable
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), OCN (preferred)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Two professional references from within the last 24 months

Preferred Experience

• Previous charge experience
• LTAC, Trauma Level I, or Trauma Level II experience
