GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a position in Oregon, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to promote recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- AHA certification (preferred)
- Current, valid occupational therapist assistant certifications
- Currently listed registry in the state of practice
- Minimum 1-2 years of direct care experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree in occupational therapy or related field
- Passing score on the national certification exam for occupational therapist assistants
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
