Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant - Long Term Care - $1,546 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Moore, Oklahoma. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers an 8-hour day shift schedule on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of rehabilitation procedures as part of the treatment plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding cognitive and physical disorders.
• Collaborate with the health team to discuss patient progress, treatment barriers, and planning.
• Document all patient information and treatment minutes accurately in the electronic documentation system, adhering to company policy.
• Participate in required meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and care quality.
• Support and supervise students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation settings.
• Active COTA license.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
