About the role
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist in implementing the treatment plan for patients. The COTA will support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities.
Responsibilities
- Aid clients with daily living activities and therapeutic exercises.
- Document patient progress and participate in care team meetings.
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Support patient education to encourage independence.
- Maintain patient safety and compliance with all protocols.
Requirements
- Hold a valid COTA license.
- Relevant experience in a rehabilitative setting.

Pay & Schedule
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
