About the role
Uniti Med is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 14-week assignment starting immediately in San Leandro, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting
- Assess patient functional abilities and develop treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve patient independence and quality of life
- Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team members
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare setting
- Valid California license
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
