About the role
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in regaining daily living skills under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Contribute to interdisciplinary care
- Document progress in electronic medical records
- Provide therapy services during day shifts (8:30 am – 4:30 pm)
- May float to other facilities within the network
- Support patient recovery and independence
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Michigan COTA license
- BLS certification preferred
- Experience in skilled nursing facilities and restorative nursing programs advantageous
