Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in regaining daily life skills under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, contributing to patient recovery and care.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license
- BLS certification (may be required)
Key Duties
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing environment.
- Collaborate with licensed therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Support patient progress to improve independence and daily functioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
- Adhere to safety and healthcare regulations.
