About the role
We are seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient role in Abilene, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Execute specialized therapy plans
- Guide patients through exercises to enhance motor skills and coordination
- Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Instruct on adaptive equipment use
- Document patient progress
- Provide emotional support
- Train caregivers
- Prepare treatment areas and sanitize equipment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and billing
Requirements
- Texas or compact Occupational Therapy license
- At least two years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a long-term care setting
Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) experience preferred.
