Travel Occupational Therapist SNF/LTC - $2,329 per week

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a contract assignment in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

About the role

A great SNF / LTC facility is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapist to join their growing team. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting as soon as possible, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including evaluating their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance, under the direction of a physician.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record their condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate occupational therapy methods.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist or in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay
