About the role
Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) providing skilled therapy services in a healthcare setting, including skilled nursing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patients' functional abilities
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and independence
- Delivering therapy services in skilled nursing facilities
- Evaluating patient needs and tailoring treatment approaches accordingly
- Helping patients improve daily living skills and regain independence
- Providing quality occupational therapy
- Maintaining documentation
- Ensuring compliance with licensing standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current or eligible Texas OT licensure
- BLS certification
- At least one year of skilled nursing experience is recommended
