Travel Occupational Therapist - Outpatient - $2,585 per week
About the Role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sioux City, Iowa. This full-time position involves 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks to evaluate conditions and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with specific goals and activities to help patients regain daily living skills.
- Assist patients with various disabilities in performing tasks.
- Evaluate patients' homes or workplaces and recommend improvements based on health needs.
- Educate patients' families and employers on accommodations and care strategies.
- Recommend and instruct on the use of special equipment.
- Assess and record patient progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to healthcare providers.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply; exceptional candidates with appropriate background may be considered).
- BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay
