About the role

This position requires providing outpatient services at two facilities in Errol, NH, including evaluating and treating patients, primarily focusing on elbow, wrist, and hand therapy. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate proficiency in treating shoulder conditions such as pain, rotator cuff injuries, and post-surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for outpatient caseloads.
• Provide inpatient care for critical access swing Med Surg services in a 12-bed hospital.
• Utilize physical agent modalities effectively.
• Fabricate custom splints and fit patients with prefabricated splints as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current Occupational Therapy experience.
• Outpatient experience is mandatory.
• Inpatient experience is also required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• All licenses and certifications must be current and in hand at the time of submission.
• Occupational Therapy skills checklist must be completed.
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment is required.

Schedule

• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• 13-week contract position

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
