Travel Occupational Therapist - Outpatient - $2,126 per week

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Outpatient Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Taos, New Mexico.

About the Role

• Outpatient setting specializing in Hand Therapy / Upper Extremity Rehabilitation
• 13-week travel assignment starting 09/07/2026
• Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Orthopedic and post-operative caseload focusing on hand, wrist, elbow, and upper-extremity conditions
• One-on-one patient interaction in a unique Northern New Mexico location

Responsibilities

• Complete occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments
• Treat hand, wrist, elbow, and upper-extremity conditions
• Provide post-operative and orthopedic rehabilitation
• Address range of motion, strength, dexterity, coordination, pain, edema, and functional limitations
• Provide therapeutic exercise and functional activities
• Fabricate or recommend splints/orthoses as appropriate
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, joint protection, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and the outpatient rehabilitation team
• Complete timely clinical documentation

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current New Mexico OT license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS certification
• Previous hand therapy/upper-extremity experience
• Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills
• Experience with post-operative hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation
• Splinting/orthosis experience preferred
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
• Strong documentation and patient education skills
