- Educates patients and families to promote functional skills
- Collaborates with healthcare teams
- Maintains accurate documentation
- Marks progress, adjusts treatments, and ensures safety
- Participates in discharge planning
- Engages in professional development
Qualifications
- Valid OT license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification
- PREFERRED: Master’s or higher degree, NBCOT certification, and experience as an OT or assistant
