Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Deliver hands-on therapy using adaptive techniques, modalities, and assistive devices.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance daily living skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
- Aid in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid OT license per state regulations and current BLS certification.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, NBCOT certification, and experience as an OT or OTA.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, technical, and motor skills.
- Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, follow instructions, and adapt to diverse settings.
