Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)—Internal Traveler
Overview
If you’re an Occupational Therapist (OT) who loves to travel and wants to experience new destinations while helping patients achieve meaningful outcomes through compassionate, patient-centered therapy—this opportunity is for you. In this role, you'll provide occupational therapy services to the adult and geriatric population during a travel assignment, working closely with patients to improve independence, mobility, safety, and overall quality of life. You'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact, integrate with supportive interdisciplinary teams, and deliver exceptional care wherever your assignment takes you.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop personalized care plans focused on functional independence, safety, and quality of life
- Deliver care through therapeutic activities, ADL training, and adaptive techniques
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Quickly integrate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to drive meaningful patient outcomes throughout your assignment
- Track patient progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and adapt treatment plans based on patient needs and rehabilitation goals

Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or license eligible in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Program
- Interest or experience in skilled nursing, long-term care or geriatric rehabilitation
- Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults
- Willingness to travel to multiple TMC locations as needed
