About the role

A dedicated Occupational Therapist is sought to assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide therapy to enhance functional abilities and independence. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams, educating patients and families on adaptive strategies and equipment, monitoring progress, and participating in discharge planning.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing interventions across various settings
  • Developing and executing personalized treatment plans
  • Maintaining patient records and documenting outcomes
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educating patients and families on adaptive strategies and equipment
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
  • Participating in discharge planning to facilitate successful transitions

Requirements

  • Holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • ND Occupational Therapy Licensure

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in an assisted living setting preferred

Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in using medical software and documentation systems
