Role Overview

An Occupational Therapist (OT) provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients develop and recover daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create personalized treatment plans based on assessments and patient goals
  • Deliver individualized therapy using adaptive techniques and assistive devices
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance independence
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes
  • Participate in quality assurance and professional development
  • Follow safety protocols and assist in discharge planning
  • Perform additional duties within scope of practice

Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid occupational therapy license and BLS certification
  • Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to irregular activity levels
  • Visual acuity and effective communication skills
