Role & Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to help patients develop, recover, and improve daily living skills.
- Assess patient needs, diagnose functional limitations, and create individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver hands-on therapy using adaptive techniques, modalities, and assistive devices.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and strategies to enhance independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance, professional development, and discharge planning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid occupational therapy license per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English, PC skills, and following instructions.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain professionalism, and adapt to irregular schedules.
