Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to help patients develop, recover, and improve daily living skills.
  • Assess patient needs, diagnose functional limitations, and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy using adaptive techniques, modalities, and assistive devices.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and strategies to enhance independence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in quality assurance, professional development, and discharge planning.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid occupational therapy license per state regulations.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English, PC skills, and following instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain professionalism, and adapt to irregular schedules.
