Travel Occupational Therapist, Medical-Surgical and Acute Rehabilitation - $1,797 per week

About the role

Lane Regional Med Ctr is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team. This is a 13-week, 32-hour per week position working 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions to patients to promote independence and improve quality of life
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Louisiana
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• At least one year of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping
