About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 25, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a long-term care setting.
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Illinois.
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • At least one year of recent, relevant experience in long-term care settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in using electronic medical records systems.
  • Experience with fall prevention and pressure ulcer management.
  • Knowledge of community resources available to LTC residents.

Skills

  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Schedule

We are looking for a healthcare professional who is ready to provide exceptional patient care in this contract/travel role. Shifts are typically 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.
