About the role
A travel Long Term Care (LTC) Occupational Therapist is needed for a 13-week assignment starting July 10, 2026, in Scott City, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a long-term care setting
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and communicate with families and other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NBCOT certification exam
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping

- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
