Travel Occupational Therapist - Long Term Care - $2,325 per week

About the Role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Humansville, Missouri. This full-time position involves 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks to evaluate conditions and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with specific goals and activities to help patients regain daily living skills.
• Assist patients with various disabilities in performing tasks and recommend adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate patients' homes or workplaces to identify potential improvements based on health needs.
• Educate patients' families and employers on accommodations and care strategies.
• Instruct patients on using special equipment and assess their progress.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.
• Maintain records of patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required for specific assignments.

Pay
