Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - $2,018 per week

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for a travel contract position at a new 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. The role involves providing therapy services to patients, ensuring adherence to required therapy hours, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to their individual therapy needs.
• Absorb and assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
• Track treatment time and charges to ensure compliance with therapy requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of therapy staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care OT experience.
• Active Kansas state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred qualifications: Experience in an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation setting, Lymphedema certification, Neuro certification or experience.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM, with every other weekend required.
