Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - $1,866 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week position in Baltimore, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan for patients, identifying specific goals and activities.
• Help people with various disabilities perform different tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's home or workplace and recommend potential improvements.
• Educate a patient's family and employer about accommodating and caring for the patient.
• Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on its use.
• Assess and record patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• MUST have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Occupational Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

• 2 Years of Experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
