About the role
American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to help patients build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills and general independence.
- Work with patients with disabilities or developmental delays, engaging their families and support groups as part of the care process.
Requirements
- Active California OT license required (license required if applicable).
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab experience required.
- Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration.
Qualifications
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: Days, 5x8hrs, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
No on-call requirements.
One weekend shift required per month.
