Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,704 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Urbana, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patient functional abilities and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Illinois.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• At least one year of recent, relevant work experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience working with patients of varying ages and conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
